  • Labor Days is the third album by US rapper Aesop Rock. It is his second album released through a label and his first on El-P's Definitive Jux label. Released on September 18, 2001, Labor Days is a concept album in which all the tracks are about the everyday life of the working class.

    The song "Labor" was featured in the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 video game soundtrack. Aesop Rock is a great MC. His flow is quick but clear; his heckles, double-time verses, and sing-song bits are arranged with almost symphonic skill. He's also calm and confident, avoiding both the egomaniacal pretentiousness of many mainstream musicians and the egomaniacal jerkiness of many underground musicians, while also embracing their subtleties.
