Black Star – No Fear Of Time

A quarter of a century after their 1998 debut, "No Fear of Time" finally brings one of the greatest hip-hop duos of all time back together: Black Star The group's members, Yasiin Bey, who formerly went by the stage name Mos Def, and Talib Kweli, first teamed up to release their iconic debut album "Mos Def and Talib Kweli are Black Star," which quickly became one of hip-hop's most revered works and catapulted the two already rising stars into the stratosphere. After years of nurturing their respective solo careers, the duo returned in 2022 with 'No Fear of Time', produced entirely by renowned beatmaker Madlib.

The 9-track album has a future vibe with vintage soul and was recorded guerrilla-style in hotels and dressing rooms at Dave Chappelle's shows around the globe and was initially released in an unconventional way by making it available exclusively via the subscription-based podcast platform Luminary. Luminary is also the home of The Midnight Miracle podcast, which the duo co-host with Chappelle. An official video was produced for album highlight "So Be It," which the duo also performed on their SNL debut, as well as a lyric video for "o.G."

Now the album is officially being made available on physical formats for fans worldwide to enjoy Black Star's triumphant return.
