Together with singer Anna LaCasio, Peter Kingsberry formed the central duo of the band Cock Robin, which was founded in San Francisco in the early 1980s. Strangely enough, their 1985 debut album was much better received in Europe than in America. "The Promise You Made" and "Thought You Were On My Side", for example, became big top 10 hits in the Benelux countries. The second and third albums also produced hits such as "Just Around The Corner", "Worlds Apart" and "The Biggest Fool Of All". The harmonizing vocals of Anna and Peter in particular became the trademark of Cock Robin, but unfortunately this did not prevent the band from breaking up in 1990, only to reunite in 2016 after 16 years.
Unfortunately, this did not bring the commercial success of the 1980s, but it did result in some beautiful songs, again penned by Peter Kingsberry, such as "Bodies On A Bed Sheet" and "Portrait".
