  • With "August And Everything After" the Counting Crows released their debut album almost 25 years ago. In 2017 this classic is finally available again on vinyl, as a double LP.

    When the band started working on the album, they were already playing together for about two years. After finding a record company, they recorded "August And Everything After" in a specially rented house in Los Angeles. The record was finally released on September 14, 1993 and landed a little later on fourth place in the US charts.

    Reasons for this were songs like "Round Here", "Rain King" and of course her most famous song to date "Mr. Jones", which helped to international popularity.

    In the USA "August And Everything After" got seven times platinum and also in Germany the album could hold its ground in the charts for 16 weeks.

    Finally on vinyl again: "August And Everything After", the successful debut of the Counting Crows.
