Liars – The Apple Drop (Coloured Vinyl)

Band founder Angus Andrew, who recorded the past two Liars albums more or less single-handedly, put together a top team for the tenth album "The Apple Drop": Recorded with avant-garde jazz drummer Laurence Pike and multi-instrumentalist Cameron Deyell in Australia, the result is a sound that combines typical Liars structures (drum thunderstorms and noise interjections included) with electronic experiments. The result is probably the most exciting and refreshing Liars album to date.
