  • The quartet around the unique front woman Yukimi Nagano has established itself as a pioneer of experimental pop music. In 2007 her debut album "Little Dragon" was released with the breakthrough single "Twice" (by the way the favorite song of Outkast's André 3000). After the first headlining shows in the USA, the electronic-looking follow-up album “Machine Dreams” was released in 2009. They were promptly invited by Damon Albarn as tour support on the Gorillaz “Plastic Beach” tour and suddenly they were playing in front of sold-out stadiums. From now on, the band's third album "Ritual Union" was constantly on the move, on tour and in between.

    For “Nabuma Rubberland”, Little Dragon's fourth studio album, the four friends returned to their home in Gothenburg to work on new ideas in a relaxed, wintry atmosphere in the in-house studio. Sources of inspiration were obscure Prince tracks, impressions from the current club culture and old "slow jams" by Janet Jackson. But even on the new album, there are still moments to rock along, such as the first, supernatural single "Klapp Klapp".
