Oasis – Dig Out Your Soul (2xLP)

The seventh studio album "Dig Out Your Soul" is the Brit-pop heroes' first release since "Lord Don't Slow Me Down", the soundtrack to the road movie of the same name. It is the first new Oasis album to be released internationally on the band's own label Big Brother. Dave Sardy was once again in the producer's chair and the recordings took place at Abbey Road Studios in London, where all four band members were involved in the creation process.

The first single "The Shock Of The Lightning" is perhaps the most recognizable Oasis number on the album: Noel's songwriting, Liam's unmistakable voice and the equally unmistakable, powerful "finger in the socket" rock 'n' roll. Nevertheless, the work on the new record marks a turning point.
