  • It's been six years since Vampire Weekend released their last album. In 2019 the US-Indierock-Combo finally returns from the studio with new material. "Father Of The Bride" is the name of album number four, the eagerly awaited successor to "Modern Vampires Of The City" from 2013.

    In addition, the record is the first long-player without multi-instrumentalist and producer Rostam Batmanglij to leave the band in 2016.

    Vampire Weekend recorded a total of 18 songs for "Father Of The Bride". Lead singer Ezra Koenig and co-producer Ariel Rechtshaid took over the production. They were supported in the studio by other musicians and engineers. There will also be some exciting guest contributions, for example from Danielle Haim, Jenny Lewis, Steve Lacy and David Longstreth.
