  • In the seventies Yes released probably their best albums. It is undisputed that "Fragile", "Tales From Topographic Oceans" and "Close to the Edge" are the best of the band's output.

    Originally released in 1972, "Close to the Edge" is a record that consists of three tracks, the first a good twenty, the other two around ten minutes long. With many borrowings from classical music, especially the sonata form, it succeeds here to create a music, that although complex after a few times of listening Out of your head after a few times of listening. One of the great classics of the progressive genre, that's for sure.
